I'm no Shakespeare scholar, but I believe that's from Macbeth.

The original was "Lay on, MacDuff" uttered by Macbeth in challenging McDuff to a sword-fight.

 

(it ended with MacDuff carrying Macbeth's

severed head)

it was when macbeth & macduff were fishing together & macbeth did a bad pendulum cast resulting in a 5oz "lead on Macduff"
