The "tribute stuff" is being done tonight as it marks John's last show on Radio 1 before his death. I think I'm right in saying there's a version of the Buzzcocks 'Ever Fallen In Love....' by Pete Shelley and friends ( all who got their break from Peel) coming out on the anniversary of his death.
