John Peel (DJ) has passed away

Just heard that radio 1 DJ John Peel died of a heart attack in Peru today.

Condulances to his family.

I will miss his querky, strange taste of music during his late night shows.

Was looking at an old bootleg tape case yesterday and thinking how much he's done for music

i grew up listening to him, and had the privalidge of having come and see one of my bands play, and then played us on his show the very next day, a great influence on me when i was a kid, he will be greatly missed.
