I had a fabulous old Passat estate, but not this decade :) I couldn't even neglect it to death.

It had a 5-cylinder Audi engine. I once convinced a gullible colleague that the 5th cylinder was cunning German technology, and that it only operated when one of the other cylinders went a bit wonky.

Likewise with the old passat, had an old K plate diesel estate with 200K+ on the clock, would have gone on a lot longer if the anxilaries didn't start to fail. Master brake cylinder went whilst Dalesmum was driving, low and behold we had a new(ish) car within a fortnight.

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Have you ever tried part exchanging a used wife?

The dealers don't want them and you get nothing for them ;)

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Yeah but first you have to splash out a load of cash on the new one, then run her in, then find out she's got an electronic brain and of course the starting procedure's completely different. They can possibly run on different fuel, the knobs are all in the wrong place :P , she smells different and won't go in the garage.

On top of that your old tools won't fit!

Oh and most important of all, the dog doesn't like the way she smells :headhurt:

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!
