Not only has the amount been halved, I think the number of prizes has diminished as well.

The £50 has dropped to £25 because of lower interest rates, all the prizes are paid out of interest earned by the main fund.

 

The number of prizes you can expect to win during one year will have dropped proportionately unless you have increased your allocation from the old maximum holding of £20,000 to the new maximum holding of £30,000. Mine have certainly dropped off since then.

Lol The most irritating thing was after about five mins after he took my statement he took on the role of counsellor and asked how I felt

probably sussing out how angry you are and if your not going to let things lie ,this means they can chuck your case in the bin that afternoon or wait a week to see if they can tag it on a crims list of crimes as a TIC if your a problem

modern coppers have more of a job than just solving crimes ,banging people up costs money and time and the paperwork stops coppers handing out on the spot fines that make money ,imagine your copper as a person who goes around collecting money and investing it in more cops who collect money and you have them down to a tee

they make so much they now employ fake cheap police lookalikes to catch your eye occasionally on the street to give the impression its real ones while they concentrate on motorists or drunks ,one cannot argue as the police are always believed whilst the other cannot remember paying the on the spot fine and thinks the coppers run a hotel with bad room service.

Indeed it has Jim,

 

.....but why, when money is scarce, (as people trying to get a mortgage have discovered) and the government ought to be grateful to those of us who lend them money, do they drop the interest rates.

 

It's the law of supply and demand turned on its head!
