Wireless Printer...

My work partner is after buying a printer , one of these new wireless jobbies but isn't too keen on paying the price that they charge for the ink cartridges. He doesn't use his printer for perfect prints but he does use it a lot , so his question is....... Are there any wireless printers out there that use compatible ink cartridges?

Hp photosmart, c4485. All in one. Mine ain't wireless, i suppose they do make a newer model that is.

However, i'm absolutly amazed at the amount of printing i can get done with it before new cartridges are required. Check on ebay with regards to the most popular cartridges hp 350 and the hp 351 they cover loads of models. and you can get compatable ones for it. However even the empty cartridges are worth money on ebay and you can also get them refilled for about a tenner each, if you haven't had them done before. You can also set your computer up for fast economical printing, and to me it still looks the same. I also don't need to use it for quality, but am more than happy with what it gives you.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

We have something which sounds like the wireless version of your Barry, think it's called the C4380 or something similar, good printer, but the wireless bit is a pain in the backside, it works fine until you swtich off either the printer or the pc, then it all needs setting up again, so I just use USB!

Try a continuos ink system which feeds ink to your cartridges from bottles outside your printer, so all you have to do is buy bulk ink from then on.

THe last lot of ink I bought cost me £35 for 4 1ltr bottles. Cheaper than the original catridges !

Just type "Cont Ink System" into Google UK.

Worth a look !

Also worth considering a wired or wireless network print server which will convert any USB printer to a network printer. Wired ones start from about 25 quid, wireless ones more like 50.

i have a lexmark wireless printer but its using usb ,everytime you want to print you find its gone into sleep mode so you have to press a button and wait to it connects again

the carts are very expensive but with this one you can use a photo cart and get 6 colour printing by removing the black cartridge (or is that 5 colour plus all of them for the black?)

my pc doesn't have a parallel port but i found my trusty old HP 6mp can be used via a usb to parallel converter ,it works pretty well.Saved on trying to find a print server with network connections.

the cheapest carts seem to be kodak but you pay high up front for the printer ,if the carts (i havnt a clue if they do) have the heads on the cartridge then its probably worth the risk if not probably not worth it unless its in daily use because the heads are far harder to clean on the machine ,i'v actually thrown printers away because the heads refuse to clean as they have dried out !! on carts with heads you just chuck away the carts after a few tricks to clean them.

Mr M. Tell him to get a Wireless Printer hub and then connect that to ANY wireless system. That way he doesn't need to change his printer!!

Like this one! I have used one for several years and NO switching off?

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))
