Bobbins

I've bought some of the muddy waters bobbins (ptfe) and have just realised that you have to buy the chain/cord and attachments seperate. The thing is I don't want their chain, I just want the screw for the bottom of the bobbin to add my own cord. Has anyone got any idea where I can get them ? I don't know but I would imagine the thread size is the same as other bobbins.

Never mind about those poncey things. Where can you get a supply of the old yellow Fairy Liquid bottle tops? You always catch more fish on those than when using the red ones.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.

Just look in your box of bits for DIY. you should find the right size there. Failing that, try the new blue Fairy liquid tops, the are the proverbial dogs bits :D:D

The two best times to go fishing are when it's raining and when it's not

Off the top of my head I can't remember the thread size (2BA???) but its the same as use on dart flights! If its the same as soloar etc almost all bits off ebay etc will fit.

I still do but I'm down to my last one. I just leave it on the line to strike and retrieve, never had tangles and I only remove it to cast. You can glue some shot in them to give a little more weight

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

I recommend making them into swingers ;)

Seriously, I'd take them to a local shop that stocks the gardner and/or solar bits and pieces and just see what fits. Most stuff is fairly interchangeable.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

"squeezy" used to have yellow tops as I recall!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!
