Looks like I'll be spending tomorrow rummaging round for things to list on Ebay. :)

Cheers for the help.

One last thing, if you go for the 900, go for the linux one, you get 20gb of memory instead of the 12gb on the XP version for the same price, and linux does all you'll need from a machine like that.

Dabs will have them in stick next week :)

I'd go along with that too Elton

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Oh great. I was going to nip to PC World tomorrow and pick something up, but now it seems 'notebooks' don't exist. Are 'netbooks' the same thing? They don't seem to have word processing software on, which is all I really want.

I'm thinking of going carp fishing next week and have *tons* of articles backing up, which I never have time to do at home. I figured this could be well worth buying this year.

Can't you have a full size keyboard and mouse to plug in to a small laptop/notebook/pda.

My laptop is a Medion from Aldi. Sainsburys do them as well.

Imported stuff from the Eurozone will probably be getting more expensive because of exchange rates.

If you have the car close by, get a small inverter so that you can use the mains charger. There are in-car chargers for laptops, but they don't seem to have plugs that fit my laptop.
