Perch Record Broken

FYI Ian Welch has posted on RMC that the perch record has been broken with a fish of 5lb 12oz.

 

The fish fell to a 12 year old fishing an Oxfordshire lake.

 

Thats a big stripey!

I've heard similar rumours.

 

It does appear to be true, but there are also lots of people jumping to different conclusions about where, who, how, etc.

No, not the Ouse. Tiny tiny little puddle in Oxfordshire. You can flick a quater ounce lead to the other side. Caught on 4-5 maggots i was told. Full of spawn, wacker of a fish.

Just seen the photo's,what a cracking fish.

Just goes to show that there are unknown fish in unknown venues that can still break records.

Makes you realise that there is still magic to be found in this sport of ours.
