I've spoken to Matt about it and he assures me that it is top-notch gear.

Let's face it, he's a "high profile" angler and knows that we'll expect high quality tackle from him! :)

Tight lines,

So another range of tackle hits an already crowded market and manages to offer much the same as every body else.

Ultra-slim, and with a fast, responsive tip action combined with a progressive fish-playing action

Not heard that before. It could describe any rod.

I'd just like somebody to produce a range of 3-piece 11' & 12' specimen rods, or is it just me that finds 6'+ rod sections a menace to carry round.

This is not an attack on Matt Hayes in particular, it's just his range of rods shows the basic selection virtually everybody makes.

Good luck to him in his new venture any way.

Cheers

I did when I was in the tackle trade - so it's not just you! I've now retired but can probably track a selection down for you. If you're interested in a custom rod e-mail me your reqirements and I'll see what I can do.
