Are you telling us that they were not capable of printing anything else within the newspaper worth a read? If so you must have read all of the paper and not just the headlines. Full page advert for example, £30,000 now that was serious expenditure on the advertisers part, So the advertisers were spending that kind of dosh on crap? Please.

I was referring to the UK press in general, not just the News of the Screws. Advertisers spend money to re-enforce their brand. £30,000 is peanuts to a big corporation.

Makes more sense to me every year ;)

 

Mind you, our local Indian takeaway has all the red tops out on the counter, and it's always fun to correlate the stories they cover and the angle they take with their proprietorial political leanings. Sun Vs Mirror is usually good for a laugh.

If it had been an ordinary Joe public at the centre of hacking accusations you bet your boots criminal charges would have been served long befor now.

Instead these people get called before a " SELECT COMMITTEE " in the commons to explain their actions.

I bet some MPs are crapping thier kecks over this.
