hi to you all, I have been reading post's on this forum for a couple of months now and have been very impressed by how knowledgeable you all are (yer can't beat a bit of flattery) :)

so I have taken the plunge and have become a member.

may I ask if anyone has stayed at white acres,as me and the woman are thinking of paying a visit 2004,I prefer floatfishing and have been to their website but would like to hear about some personal experiences,any info appreciated.

I have wrestled with reality for 46 years,still wrestling.

i havent fished there but welcome ,i`m sure one or more members will advise you :)

Hi Kendo, and welcome. I stayed down there 2 years ago and had a really good time - plenty of fish to catch (mostly on float) but don't enter the competitions, they are a waste of money and valuable fishing time. Enjoy yourself!!!

thanks for the reply i fish purley for pleasure and that old cliche, which is just being close to water with a dash of peace and a sprinkling of wildlife and with anyluck good company.

oh i nearly forgot somtimes fish. :):)

I agree, i'm a southerner who now lives up north, and I find simple humour best, especially the northern kind, you know, like "LEEDS UNITED" :D:D

 

mind you from a lifelong orient supporter thats saying something :D
