I've had my innoculations, made sure the passport is up to date, cooked up a batch of Yorkshire Puddings to see me through, and contacted the embassy there just in case of trouble getting back over the border. Yep, this Yorkshireman is going to Lancashire!

 

Since our pup (Red) died at the end of August, we've arranged to buy a 8-week old puppy and this Friday we'll be picking him up. Obviously, I'll be wanting to post pics of the new pup on here as soon as possible, but here's one of Red, gone and still very much missed :cry:

Are you taking medications along in case of problems from a primitive water supply? Good that this time of year you won't need to sleep under netting to avoid insects.

John sorry to hear of your loss i am sure the Puppy will have you running around and quickly fill the void ,Red was a very handsome chap....Steve

We are not putting it back it is a lump now put that curry down and go and get the scales

have I told you abouit the cruise control on my Volvo ,,,,,,,bla bla bla Barder rod has it come yet?? and don`t even start me on Chris Lythe :bleh::icecream:

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Thanks for the advice Newt, have bought a stomach pump and stocked up on purgatives, purifying tablets & etc :)

 

Janet, I'm sure there are lots of good Lancashirerians, but it's best not to take any chances ;)

Janet, I'm sure there are lots of good Lancashirerians, but it's best not to take any chances ;)

 

I think you will find that we who live in LANCASHIRE are called Lancastrians, and we treat Yorkshire tight Ars--

like any other visiter TAR & FEATHER THEM then send them back across the border, :rolleyes::P:clap2:
