Junior Day Tickets

Whats the going rate for a Juniors day ticket in your area ?

I'm a little bit dissapointed at a local commercial to me, as I've just been charged £14 for an afternoons fishing for two young family members (9 and 11 years old)

Seems a bit steep to me, especially as we were only fishing for about 3 hours in total!

Or alternatively does anyone know any decent waters suitable for complete beginners in the South of Essex who aren't going to rip me off!

On the plus side both kids loved it, and want to go again next week, but at £14 + bait every time this could end up costing me more than my club tickets do!

seems bit expensive seeing they dont exist  (they dont need a rod licence till 12)

any kids with their parent are ignored when i bailiff so long as the adult is using only one rod ,kids have to learn sometime why force them (their parents)to pay for the privilage

Well can't complain about the fishing, in 3 hours they caught about 20 small rudd, along with a crucian, tench and common of around half a pound, Ideal water to get them started, especially as it is only 15 mins away. but checking a few other venue websites it does seem rather overpriced.

Children are taxed the same as you our I on most things! (V.A.T).

I was most miffed when I started work to be paying tax but not able to vote for the prats who spent my money!

I think all fisheries need to remember where the money is going to come from in the future. Free for under 12's as long as accompanied by at least one paying adult would fit the bill.

Jealousy: totally irrational anger directed at people who happen to be richer, prettier, thinner, cleverer and more successful than you are.

With you on that one but would the fishery owners see it that way .The club Im a member of are very tolerant of young uns there is a junior club but if the non members who come with them are quiet its a case of let sleeping dogs lie it seems to work.ps glad I dont have to pay those prices never mind the kids.
