Mrs Hawk and holidays

Fact.

Mrs Hawk is a sun worshipper. If it’s hot for 2 weeks holiday with swimming pool a bar and plenty of chocolate and a bag of chips she is Happy. And the accommodation is reasonable

Mr Hawk (that’s me by the way) wants to fish for two weeks in the sun but as long as it’s warm.

So there is my dilemma.

Norfolk Broads as in boats or canals is too risky as she will just groan and scare all the Rudd away.

Grand Canaria, Benidorm which she would like I would rather have two weeks in the same bivvy as a Rudd angler (well not quite as bad as that but you get my point)

So, a nice happy medium, my life is in your hands. France is good with some nice fish in a lake but Mrs Hawk needs the above requirements can both me mixed somewhere?

Budgie your world experience is needed here but not to expensive mate Steve has rinsed all my money out to fish over here!! ;)

Sportsman.

Thank you for that there are some very good venues but Mrs Hawk may not be overly impressed and would see such a venue as very lopsided in my favour. I think something that can keep her off my back like a swimming pool and hotel may even the odds out....

Hawk

I can recommend the Ebro I used to do a lot of fishing on the river and as Sportsman says it's not just about Catfish there's Carp, Barbel, Mullet Bluefish Leerfish and Black Bass.

There is no need for you to bivvy up for the holiday either there are guides operating out of the resorts of Salou and Cambrils who specialise in running day trips to the river and they will arrange bait, licences etc.

Then again you could always go to Cuba and do some proper fishing!!!

What are you lot doing to me?

I am dribbling all over the place but i am not rich gentleman i am just a humbled man of society who looks at the 'Reduced offer' counter in Sainsbury's everyday.

You keep forgetting Mrs Hawk. Mrs Hawk has been married to a fisherman for 26 years she knows me more than i do so going underground and secrecy is paramount here.

tactics like never before have to be used!

The Ebro is good but is there a swimming pool nearbye and a sun lounger and a place to buy Sun cream and a bag of chips?
