wow, barney got one goldfish from the funfair last saturday, i put him in isolation in case he has any fungus, how long should i keep him apart from eric & eric the fish ? any one got any idea ?

Hi Ziggy ...

 

Put him in a container with the same water that you have Eric and Eric in. Keep him there for about 7 days. If all OK, he should be alright to join the others ... but keep you eye on him until he is well established.

The Older I get .. The better I was.

he's been on his own for 8 days now so i'll check him out in a tank before introducing him to the erics.

 

Eric the chicken is dead.

 

it was very quick though, went out to see why he wasnt watching rex hunt's fishing adventures with the other chickens, he was sat in his box looking a bit off, checked on him half an hour later & he'd snuffed it.

Sorry to hear about your loss Ziggy. Most people just think of them as a future meal, but we know they have their own personalities. The way they seek out their favourite spot, the little cluck of delight when you bring their daily food, the look of surprise when you introduce them to Mr Axe....
