The Witnesses Peter.

Think yourself lucky, the 'Kingdom Hall' is exactly opposite my front door, I'm looking at their sign as I type this! Mind you, someone must have put the word out that there's a cantankerous old git in the house opposite, who won't talk about anything but fishing, cos they've long since stopped knocking at my door....

Ahhh, me, I'm on a witness protection scheme!

Ask 'em if they believe in God's miracles? When they say 'yes' then ask them why they then deny God the the right to perform his miracles, such in the transfer of blood in order to save life. I have yet to meet a JW who has had an answer to that one!

I invited one in once cos it was raining hard and

I felt sorry for him. I sat him in front of the

fire, made him a cup of tea and offered him some

biscuits. Then I asked him what it was that he

wanted to speak to me about. His reply was," I don't know really, I've never got this far before"!

Inside every old person is a young one wondering what the hell happened!

Very funny comments. :D

I am actually an Evangelical Church Minister and under 'normal' circumstances I relish the opportunity to engage JW's (and other Cult members) in theological conversation.

But you have to draw the line somewhere and when I'm out fishing it is just slightly the wrong side of the line for debate on the 144,000, the 'little flock' and the life and times of Charles Taze Russell. :D:D:D
