Captain's Log

Liaisons this past fortnight:

Monday - a young Sophia Loren.

Tuesday - a ditto Ingrid Bergman.

Wednesday to Saturday - a ditto Gina Lollabrigida (Sophia was still around, so we made it a threesome).

Sunday - Ashley Judd. Bor-ring...

Sunday - barely got rid of her when Kiera Knightley stopped by, wanting to party. Told her to her f*** off.

It went on for several more days in similar fashion.

NEVER AGAIN - I'm giving up!

With all the different species that are available, it would not be a bother. As stated before, I use different tactics and that makes it a challenge. To catch the same type of fish without a variation would get to be a BORE! This has not happend and I do not think that it will as long as we (the people) take care of the waterways. I enjoy the out-of-doors and that make it worth while to go out and try. When I catch fish, I know that I am doing something right and when I don't, I look for another way to get them feeding.

Had to tell them both that I'd be out fishing.

Blimy, that Boote bloke likes old birds don't he!

(I'm sure a few of them are dead....)

Mind you I've been out with a few birds like that!! :D

I'd just change target all the time if it got boring - but fly fishers 'bag up' all the time & keep going back for more...

Jealousy: totally irrational anger directed at people who happen to be richer, prettier, thinner, cleverer and more successful than you are.

I definately would yes.

There is more to fishing than just catching the fish as far as I am concerned. It's being out in nature, enjoying the beauty of the water you are fishing on and most importantly just being there.

And catching fish is ACE too!!!

Good thread this Gaffer.
