I got a pukka 480l cree and rear light for £11 they are not expensive ,unfortunately when your fat the choice of bike tumbles i ended it with a heavyweight beast with metalwork the weight of rsj,s .

Not ridden it much i dont like the position of mountain bikes handles and saddles even with disk cutter adjustment .i should have spent more on a traditional version

Unfortunately i am so unfir even 21 gears are not enough ,i end up after 100 yards on even a gentle slope a quivering wreck almost unable to stand

Sounds like me today.

Just back from a short session on the canal fishing and decided i wanted home quick and thought i would give the road a try. Not likely to happen any time soon as I was pushing nearly 30-35mph (i think?) on the downhill in the lowest gear then forgot to shift gears for the uphill part, quickly seeing me on the grass verge almost vomiting, out of breath and trembling.

I did get home in about 5 minutes though.

I'll stick to the canal path for a while I think :bicycle:

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong
