this is probably the worse longshot ever

 

Paris and co... could it mean Europe.... then there is the band "Europe"

 

They had an albulm out in the 8o's called

"Wings of Tomorrow" the front of the album has a bird of prey on the front( I think its a bird of Prey) although I don't know which one.

 

As I say its a longshot

Judy - I could kiss you!!!!! Of all the clues THAT one has bugged me the most - (90-100 are always nearly impossible ) sure enough my dictioanry has 'a very white raw silk' as a defintion for MARABOU - how did you get it - or is this just something all women know!!!!!

My other half is a cryptic crossword fan and I bought him a couple of books called Word File or similar.

The one I used is by Chambers and its full of lists,eg. Birds from 3 letters up to 15 letters .

 

so I cheated and compared that list to the materials and fabric (Clothes) but there were a lot that might have fitted .

 

As I said we have 2/3 of these they are all a bit different but great as a last resort or for really obscure things.

I enjoyed puzzling.
