I want a frothy head.

Having solved the mystery as to the fruit we had at the bottom of the garden, we've decided to make some wine.

Having never made wine before, us simpletons thought it would be a very simple task of plonk fruit in bucket,add yeast and sugar,leave until supplies run out then sieve, bottle, re-open bottle then drink. (Hopefully)

O.K, so, we've got stage 1 done, the fruit has been in the bucket now for a day or two, but I havent got a frothy head and I want one - im sure I've done as I was told (only with reference to adding the sugar and yeast )Now im not sure if this is a sign that things have gone wrong. What do you think, do I need to add anything else.

I'll probably have some more questions, but that'll do for now. I hope you sterilised everything with Milton or something similar first.

That's o.k Aanthony, I realise my completely innocent references to frothy heads may be misconstrued by our male chumns on here.

but my dear friend is obviously distressed by the situation and is clearly asking for suggestions as to how she can whip up a nice big frothy head as soon as possible.
