How many faux pas can you achieve in 24hrs if you realy try?

Not content with insulting Linda, you then try and chat up Victoria on the phone!! You didn`t think I`d be at home, at that time of day?

I might have several health problems, but they`ll never stop me working or fishing.

Just glad to hear that you`ve been passed fit.

Well angina(sp) runs in my fathers side of the family and taken many relatives, and an hereditery heart defect runs in the males of my mothers side. Grandad was as fit as a fiddle and died of a heart attack on the golf course at the age of 52, uncle had a triple bypass at the age of 39 and another uncle died of a heart attack last year at the age of 46. So it seems i'm pretty much DOOMED.

 

I smoke like a Sadam palace and as fit as a cello.

 

But i'm blessed, I have a wonderful partner and two fantastic children whom I love dearly.

 

A little rule that I try to follow is "work to live, not live to work".

When a lot of my classmates started smoking c1960, they referred to fags as 'coffin nails'.

How come all these people are now sueing the tobacco companies for not telling them that smoking was dangerous.

The best advice I ever had was from my dad when he told me not to take alchohol till I was 21. I never tasted beer till I was 26. Terrible tasting stuff! Cider shandy is quite nice. Pernod and sweet cider goes down nice, but the expense nowadays is enough to put anybody off.

I won a fag in a slot machine when I was 10 and took it home. My mother made me try to smoke it. 2 puffs was enough, never done it since.

I think I had the right sort of parents.

 

I had 4 weeks sick pay at 5/- a week when I had my appendix out in 1968. I decided it wasn't worth being ill for that sort of money so I haven't been signed off sick since then.
