Here's the place to post if you need to borrow any tackle or camping/cooking gear for the Fish-In. There's loads available so please do ask.

 

Please remember that the maximum test curve rod on the Coarse Lake for the fish-in this year is 2 1/4lbs.

 

Two things we do need a lot of as usual are long banksticks and long bobbins. By long I mean one bankstick of 42ins/105cms closed plus one of 30ins/75cms closed per rod. Bobbins need to be 24ins long. If anyone can help with these please post here. Thanks.

Similar to last year myself and gary will be in need of a bivvy and a bedchair each if anyone has any going spare. I meant to buy one but couldnt justify it on the off chance that I would get to Wingham this year. I wouldnt use it any other time so seems a waste of money to buy both and only use them once a year at best.

 

We would also need 2 long drop bobbins each. I think we should be ok for long banksticks though.

If possible I would need to borrow bank sticks, I can probably make do with the bobbins I have and tape them half way down the poles rather than screw them under the alarms to give them a much longer drop.

I will not be using mine, I can let you borrow x2 pairs of long sticks that I normaly use when fishing the coarse lake at Wingham.

Blimey I’ve got a place, I really didn’t expect that given the interest this year’s event has generated.

 

Could I borrow a bivvy and a bedchair please…oh and while I’m at it please could I be allocated Second Platform swim :D

Are you fishing the carp lake for eels again?

 

I will be after that elusive 5lb plus eel and so will be on short sticks or rod pod. I have 1 extra spare long stick same as the others if that is of any use to you, I tend to fish that one in the water paired with a standard bank stick on the bank. Your welcome to borrow that one aswell if you want but with out knowing which swim you are fishing it's hard to know if that set up will work but I will bring it along anyway.
