A hard rain a'coming

Hmmm!

The remnants of hurricane Nadine are moving back towards us.

If it merges with any of the wet low pressure systems progressing across the UK this week, we could be in for another real soaking at the end of this week :(

Nadine seems to be a storm that just doesn't want to die. Wandering around the Atlantic for around 20 days now. Hopefully she won't decide to finally visit the UK since you folks seriously do not need more rain right now.

Youre right there Newt 11 days rain so far .My brothers roof has a serious leak that needs fixing so we have had to redirect it with rainwater pipes and gaffer tape until it decides to stop :):o

I was at Tenterden in Kent today.

High level clouds were moving towards the North-East (presumably along with a high-level airstream) whereas low-level cumulus clouds were heading South-West towards the centre of low-pressure.

You don't see that often!

Leon,

Sounds like Kansas. Do that REAL fast with a temperature shear thrown in - and bingo - You got yourself a toronado.

They recorded 32c in the shade at the United States base at Rota Andalucia earlier.....We had around 28c which was nice.

Going to feel it though when the colder air finally manages to push it's way over us.

It very rarely falls below +5c where i live, even though i am 260 metres above sea level. February is the coldest in my area.
