Fished for a few hours this evening.

This was the only fish, a little beautiful pike of just under 3lbs.

Very pleased, even if it is the smallest pike I've ever caught :P (Not that size is all that matters

:)

Nice one Dan, I see you are a guy who loves his fishing no matter what size the fish. Good for you mate. I'm hoping to get a few hours in lure fishing myself tomorrow.

Argyll - got my Tobys from Sweden already! Thanks mate.

Grabbed a couple of hours on the upper Thames at Cricklade. One small chub of a couple of pounds on link legered breadflake. Not a sniff on my "special" cheese paste experiment, but then flake tends to outfish most things there.

I've got plans to try to find barbel this Summer, but looking at the river I'm not confident. Not much depth, not much current, basically not much river. I've caught good barbel in rivers no wider, but they've had good flow and a bit of depth. Much of this is < 2 feet deep.

Still, that's the landing net wetted.
