Chelsea player sent off for fouling ball-boy!

Two goals behind, and with the clock running down, Chelsea's Eden Hazard decided the Swansea ball boy was being too tardy when the ball went out of play and moved to interfere. When the lad fell face-down on top of the ball, Hazard kicked out to dislodge it and in doing so clearly hurt the kid, who was helped away by other officials. The ref rightly decided Hazard had gone too far and sent him off.

Ironically, there were 10 minutes left to play, plus time added on, so there would feasibly still have been time for a comeback.

What a tosser!

It looked far worse from the angle shown during the game, and whilst I accept there was no real intent it was a foolish action and the ref probably called it right. Mind, if the kid was putting it on he did an acting job equal to any of his Premier League counterparts.

Hazard should be ashamed for kicking the lad, the lad should be ashamed for cheating whilst representing his club.

Both parties actions just go to show how sh!t football ethics have become.

How many sports do you know where fans boo their own team and shout/chant things that would get you arrested if done in another public place.

As a non-fan of football but a conosur of dirty fighting, I'd say he didn't kick him but he did stomp him after he got the ball - while he was stepping over him.
