chesters, there's no way that most of those questions are legal.

 

A copy to your local paper, or even a national, should set some interesting events in motion.

 

In this day and age, you're not allowed to ask a woman who's about to give birth if she's pregnant, by any chance. I doubt somehow, therefore, that questions about your sexual activities are legal (or relevant!).

Elton said about what I thought the rules were these days for questions that can be asked vs. those that cannot.

 

Get someone else (they'd probably notice your name showing up again) to make the same request. Then when you get their reply that hopefully contains the same list of questions, leave it sealed.

 

Check with an attorney but you will want it opened in front of witnesses and at that point, you can sue. In addition to whatever criminal law they are violating, I'm sure they've also run afoul of some civil ones as well.

not much in religion surprises me i have read somewhere that not until sometime in the eighties [i think ] that the catholic church officially agreed with the theory that the world was round.....

Interesting list of false religions - including major world religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism, etc. Clearly these people are very blinkered. I think they should add their brand of Christianity to the same list!

 

I think most of these religions believe in a single God and preach tolerance of other religions because they are essentially all giving the same answer for our unanswerable questions.

maybe its thier way of looking for god by using that list cos if none of that list applied to someone then we wounld have found god already.

after reading a load of pompous tosh about how peter horrobin found god whilst restoring an old alvis on their website, i sent them this email

 

dear sir/madam

 

i read with interest the account of mr horrobins experience with the vandalised alvis, and how he received gods help in fixing the car. i have a 1994 peugeot 106 and i'm having trouble with the ignition system, i wondered if i could receive help in the same, or a similar way as i have tried all my local garages to no avail, and i dont really have the money to go to the main dealers workshop.

I pray you get your car sorted! Unfortunately the help God gave me was not to sort out the car's needs, but to use its derelict condition to show me that many people's lives are also derelict and that while I could restore bits of broken metal, God could do something much more important, restore broken lives. It was the beginning of what was to become my life's work. I wish I could help you more with the ignition system!!
