whilst trying to find an online tide table thingy

i came across this site ,for the life of me i cannot find any reference to g.b ,maybe newt could explain

chesters - I surely cannot explain. Darnedest thing I have seen in a while. But I did ask them. Copy of an email I just sent is below and I will post any response they make:

The people who 'control' the rights to these charts in the UK have just started threatening legal action against people showing 'their' data. I wonder if that has something to do with it? :(

your probably right elton ,the future means "what can be sold" probably will be ,i spent some time downloading a "free" p.c program ,after installing it i found it would only tell me the tide times in a past sense , which to me finding out what the high tide at bournmouth yesterday is to me a waste of time :P

Well, no...they just don't know how to translate Imperial Tides into English standard or metric. :D

 

Think about it. An Imperial pint is what, something like 20 ounces? But how much of this is head, and how much is beer? :confused:

 

Makes me think, I think. :rolleyes:
