I agree with DavidP if the moon landings were fake and lure of money to tell all would be too great for at least one of the thousands of personal who worked on the project.

They had to have done it.

It was the only way they could go somewhere and not find the SAS or SBS had been there already.

Of course it was real, and if you want to know why they haven't been back since, take a look back into the 70's archives and the state of the US economy since, they can't afford it now!

By the way, it wasn't only the americans who were involved, so were the brits and aussies to name two, and even if Uncle Sam had managed to persuade the entire US nation to keep schtum I doubt that the aussies would take any notice.

There was a pretty good TV prog recently about these conspiracy theories and though some of the evidence was compelling stuff it was certainly not an open and shut case.

I happen to believe that NASA may just have 'enhanced' a few of the films 'allegedly' shot on the lunar surface probably due to equipment inadequacies and malfunctions but to suggest that this adds up to a monumental cover-up is absurd.

the fact is they may have gone but the pictures are fake ,there are several plausible statements that the camera used couldnt be used with space gloves on and the film wouldnt work in the temperatures moonside also who took the pictures of the lander taking off :)

The whole "lunar landing was a fake" thing has been done, and done, and done. And refuted, and refuted, and refuted. Last time it was a popular "issue" was around 1997 I think and there was a rather strange TV show putting forth the same idea in 2001. Apparently (this is the third time in as many weeks) we are seeing it surface again so maybe it has cycled around once more.

For excellent point-by-point illustrations of why the landing did happen and the pictures were taken, try

and several dozen others if anyone is interested.
