Just finished knocking these up. This is a selection of some of the flies/lures I have tied up for Ian Burretts Florida "jolly" this winter. For those of you who are interested got some of the patterns and ideas from www.saltwaterflies.com. Its well worth a look.

 

The hook sizes vary from a 4,small fry and shrimp for bonefish up to 8/0 O'shaunessys for big game fish. Ian has not seen them yet,do you think he will be pleased?

 

When Ian posts up his reports on his return we shall all find out!

Nice looking flies snatcher, been meaning to give you a call. You still up for trying to make a few white marlin flies. Need to be on 5/0 or 6/0 O'shaughnessys, maybe 6 inches or so long in total, loads of flash and a little bit of weight, what do you think? Call you soon.

Nice flys snatch' Ian should do well with those.

Have you thought of a crab pattern? apparently a killer for

Bones, Permit, Tarpon, Jacks....see here....

look like nice flies. Actually just PM`d Bob re next year, I`ve left him the fly rod for the marlin so If your looking for the 6/0 Oshaugnessy` I`ve got plenty, PM me.
