Would anyone be interested?

I asked Elton about one but fear my question fell on deaf ears, he's been very busy.:)

Anyhow what I thought was as there's so many posting some quality and interesting pictures we could have a bit of a friendly competition.

I'm sure we could get some 'freebies' as prizes, infact I put up a brand new reel as one of the prizes.

Let me know what you think.

If there's enough interest i'll try and sort it out. B)

Current pictures only? Any subject matter in particular or is the field wide open? I've seems some spectacular pictures so far and would love to see more, competition or not...

On a photo forum I visit they have a bi-weekly challange, this involves someone choosing a theme and in the two-week "open" period a pic for that theme must be taken. The topic chooser then selects three entrants and the forum votes for the best one. You need a couple of people to pick the first two, and the winner of the first picks the third, then subsequent winners choose their topic etc etc. I'm certainly up for taking part.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

I was just wondering that.

I could chip in a few small prizes and create a gallery category specifically for it, as long as we can establish some guidelines.

Me! Photo comp judges are historically one step removed from the moronic but we do exist. The world of photographic clubs, PAGB, has a sound qualification system and your's truly is an 'A' list judge!! If not me there are others, I'm sure, who would help out.
