Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

"Even a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work."

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

Nice one Medwaygreen :) Just got back in from a supposed photoshoot myself!! HMS Illustrious was due to be entering the Tyne today at 12.00. We could see here a few miles out to the south of the piers. the pilot boat went out to check the conditions and nearly overturned between the piers,it was that windy.

Her arrival into the Tyne has now been put back to 08.00 tomorrow. I wouldn't care the light conditions were perfect for taking photographs.Watch it be pants in the morning :o

Lovely shot Medway. Very sharp, clear and colourful. Great series Snatcher. The ships are good but that Pier looks like a terrific subject thats there for you anytime.

Took the Canon Powershot A700 to a footie match today. We were meeting up in the pub a couple of hours before the kick off so did not want to risk taking the 400D :drunk:

The occasion was Whitley Bay at home in the first leg of the FA Vase semi-final against Lowestoft. It was a family affair, even my grandbairns Wayne and Lewis were there.Whitley Bay also won 2-1 which was nice !! Anyway here they are
