Guest Finepix
Hi Phil Once you have the image saved in Imageshack, open up the Add Reply in the forum and then click on the Tree Icon. Here you can paste the direct image link. This will add it to the thread. You'll get there in the end, I did!! (great image by the way) Image size, you don't want it any larger than 700 pixels, just go to image size in your editing software. Steve Randles 0
http://img383.imageshack.us/img383/9232/fxcd00039pv.jpg Okay Phil, I'll leave your pic up for an hour before removing as its so large.. You need to resize your image first in whatever image software you have, if you dont have any then google for Irfan view and use that one. I would suggest you resize to 700pixels down the longest edge...a good viewable size for the net. Upload this new resized image to imageshack and it will then give you some option of how to post it it...one will have bracket comments like this at the start of the link, if it has "thumb" in the url ignore this and click on the picture again and look for the tag again...paste this in your post.. Guest Finepix
Hi Phil Which link are you using from Imageshack?? Firstly, when you click on the tree icon (in add reply) get rid off the http:// that is already there. Then, once you have loaded your image to imageshack and checked / altered the size of the image (go for 700 pixels max on the largest side) you then have six links to choose from. Pick the very bottom one called Direct and paste that into the Tree Icon once you have deleted the http:// (as already mentioned above). It is a nightmare, but once you get one right there's no going back.
