I think I will give up Norton System Works when my subscription runs out.

Is the XP firewall good enough not to have to bother with ZoneAlarm?

Run them both for a year no problems, easy set up and self maintains, not intrusive in everyday use.

I've got Norton, and I have to say it's a pain in the arse. I work from home, and use a SourceSafe repository over a VPN. If I don't disable auto-protect, checking anything out of sourcesafe takes tens of minutes. It's unusable.

 

The subscription has now run out, and I'm tempted to replace it with something else, but I have a horrible feeling that it won't uninstall gracefully.
