Is Service Pack 2 still available ?

Last night I was connecting a friends PC to broadband. Once connected, I downloaded the Microsoft anti-spyware package and on realising that she’d never installed Service Pack 2, I went back to Microsoft’s download centre to find and install it. Despite running a search, I couldn’t find it anywhere.

I even tried downloading one of the updates, thinking that the original SP2 would be bundled with it but this was rejected ‘cause SP2 wasn’t installed.

Is SP2 still available to download anywhere ?

Thanks, but the pre download blurb specificaly states that that version is intended for networks and tells people not to use it for a single computer. I still can't find SP2 though.

I have saids disk at home if no joy? BUT I am away from Tuesday for a week!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

If you have broadband, ignore the blurb, download it and off you go.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
