Dave Prowse was also the Green Cross Code man - my old schoolfriends Doug Bennett and Pete Norman recorded the jingle with him (Doug was a sound engineer at Olympic Studios at the time).

i'm currently deliberating whether or not to dazzle you with tales of rock and roll excess from my time on the road working with rock bands, or just tease you with a quick mention of once being kissed by gail porter ;)

Fair enough, but be aware that I have had lunch with Ringo Starr...but I never mention it, obviously. :yeah:

I once got lunch from Gary Rhodes for free. His mother is our churchwarden and I'd helped with editing and getting a book about the church in to print.
