Way to go Sam Cox.

One day soon I hope to catch a perch of a decent size but almost certainly it won't run nearly as large as that monster of yours.

Well done Sam.

I don't think using a chub as bait wouldn't be my choice, maybe a big lob worm or a spinner.

I like chub to grow and make good fishing.

QUOTE(sam-cox @ Mar 10 2006, 09:05 PM) Again thanks, I have been using small rud that lucky enough can be caught just feet out from the bank. However thismorning not only did I catch small rud for live bait but managed a very small 3inch chub.

The chub caught me two perch the bigie and berfore that one of 1.6lb, they are tough little baits chub.

Sorry but to me thats really cruel!!!

If you think the use of live bait is cruel then may I surgest that you take up a sport like golf!

Well done mate :yeah:

Thanks for the hooks by the way, they have caught loads of various fish from around the world. I believe Vagabond caught some nice tropical biggies from a combination of my tying and your hooks !

Thanks again :)
