Hi yer Guy

We have had a fair paggering this month as Davy who stuck it out with us this weekend will testify. Day after day it just grinds you down. The biggest two memories i will take home off this trip are, of the night in with the guitars which was definatley the best social event of the trip (Your crew entertained us well in the green green grass of home) and of having cold feet for five weeks.

Our figures are way down on previous years, every party has seen some fish but not as many as expected, but their all hand picked regulars regulars and its just been great for me personally to socialise with my customers that have become firm friends

On the funny side today Golden Balls PM has lost it. He's just had 2 days in Weymouth on a charter for Plaice, The first day no one had a bitet out of 8 men and the second day they had a few but he never had a touch. He's lost a skate yesterday after a good scrap and never had a touch today. The other Essex boy's and me particuarly are calling him an old has been, I really like Paul but its good to see him squirm instead of dishing it out.

Spikes done me 2 days running, :yeah: and i am chuffed. It's great for him to finnish with a few big days

Tommorows the last day and a a good forecast, so heres hoping to end with a few biggies and some sunshine

Right through the bad weather the comment was often made hat it will all change once the Essex boys arrive.

We went out for half a day as they had to travel home today. Paul golden balls Maris had an early fish of 168 and just as we were talking of packing in he had a fish that he fought for well over an hour that turned out to be my secong biggest ever skate of 219 pounds.

You couldn't write a better script His luck really is unbelievable.

:clap2: Hi Ian, I agree about the weather, I've never known a winter like it for trips blown off. It's getting better down here now, just hope the fish turn up. :clap2:
