BINATONE YOU SAY YOU ARE A MAN SOUND WITH THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, WELL WHY DO YOU SPELL STAIRS INCOORECT ALL THE TIME BY SPELLING 'STARES'. ONE FOR THE BOOK I THINK!!

Why thank you wtr2 for pointing out to me something that I have never tried to hide. My bad English.

I think I can remember apologising for my bad English last year when I was defending big cods English. Someone had a go at some bad spelling he had done and I said how childish I thought it was.

How reassuring you are by your comments on what should be a complicated subject that you’re obviously supreme talents with the English language allow you to use your skills to there utmost by pointing out a spelling mistake or two.

Well let me assure you wtr2, if the Romans had been obliged to learn Latin, they would never have found time to conquer the world.

The top and bottom of this is about pot shots

I think the site should have a new heading in forum catogories. some thing like personal attacks , vendettas or just plain old TISH STIRRING :lol::lol:

As I have said before slack line, there are often disagreements as to what a particular set of facts mean. That is not at all unusual, and one shouldn’t read into it more than is there.

But as I would imagine you know only to well slack line nothing is so well worth having as friends. So as you will have noticed I take every opportunity on this forum to make them.

You take care now.

So Binatone help me here, what was the thread actually about?!

dan

Hi Dan. You asked what this thread was actually about. Will draw you up a quick summery.

Big cod asked for advice or it could have been people’s thoughts not to sure on that one Dan? On anglers falling over? Why they had the audacity to do such a thing?

I said that it might have something to do with you taking them to sea in your boat.

And therefore it might help that you warn them that boats sometimes move about a bit when they come in contact with water.

Big cod then disagreed and said that anglers should know better.

True I said, but in a court of law common sense does not always mean as much as you would like.

The thread then (like big cods boat) went through many peaks and troughs before it was decided that slack line would cut us no more slack and said we where all to grow up and hand in our sea legs when exiting the thread.
