ZZippy et al,

 

I am not going to Loch Lomond now - job has been cancelled.

 

So I am now available to go fishing! Anyone up for going to the tope mark again this weekend?

 

I really wanted to go with the party, but work has to come first. Incredible run down the Trent - put 3 or 4 hours on the new engine taking pictures of the marathon skiers - then on the Sunday watching those guys guys race at speeds of over 100mph with the heavy rain in their faces was deserving of respect. Only one incident with a F2 boat going up the bank on a bend at over 80......air ambulance, 2 road ambulances. Boat totalled - engine ripped clean off the transom. Thankfully walking wounded and only minor injuries. Weather was crap - wish I had gone fishing on the Friday!

 

This weekend is going to be lovely weather.......

Lovely weather this weekend??????The one I have seen said wet,cold and windy.We were going to do some Plaice fishing on the Skerries.But looks way to Rough.The surf report is for 11.5 feet waves on Friday

Good news though...I can make the 10th along with Speciman.

Well done, on what looks to have been a very productive weekend. The pictures are very good and the weather certainly played ball for you as well. I take it the smaller Tope will stay in shore there right through the summer...

 

Now I must go and speak to the wife about a venue for our summer camping trip..
