Congratulations to franticfisherman2 on winning this challenge. And well done to the other finalists and all who took part too.

a great shot and i was pleased to see it in the final three as it caught my eye as soon as i sore it and think its a worthy winner!! well done mate and well done to all who entered!! very nice shots all round!!!

thanks for your votes :) I'll try to think up a subject for the next challenge and set up the new thread on Wed .night. Something different, something challenging, something................. :headhurt:

This would have been Hellbellys entry (which he took on the first day of the Comp) if he wasn't too lazy to post it. He didn't think it was impressive enough but I certainly would have entered it if it was mine.

 

Can't pick a Top 3 this time, but Rabsters Man on the Tractor would have been in there for sure simply because it fitted the criteria most aptly. The reason HB didn't want to enter his photo was because you couldn't really tell if it was still being used. I suggested perhaps submitting a photo which showed the modern surroundings such as the wire fence around it.

Tubularbelle - re yours & HB's waterwheels, I definitely prefer the second one where you can see the lawn etc, you get a better sense of perspective & that is one big old waterwheel.
