Just got a text from Wordbender, who is in hospital with an abcess on his spine. He's got all sorts of metalwork through his spine, so I'm assuming it's related.

 

Good luck with whatever they have to do, mate. Hope to see you back here soon.

Ouch, sounds a tad painful.

 

He'll be bivvied up in his ward with 3 rods in his bedpan soon enough I'm sure :)
