Another Whitby Shark

Rich Ward has been successful on The shark front this week with another Porbeagle of roughly 150 pounds.

It didn't fancy the leg, probably a bum shark.

Dinny want to throw a spanner in the works...and, have NEVER seen one, never mind caught one...but according to the charts....from tip of snout to fork in tail, for a Porgie....6feet = 165 lbs.......now, that fish is never anywhere near 6 foot long !!!!!!

 

Good catch tho.... well done those guys.. ...I am VERY jealous...

I have been lucky enough to catch and see many sharks and this one is not over 60lb. Still a great catch in UK waters.
