Yep that's what I do now. :) The first time my keys got wet I was in the middle of nowhere in the dark so it was with a bit of nervous tension that I tried opening the car. Fortuately it was OK.

Lesson learnt.

I bought a peli box to keep my wallet/keys/mobile in etc

Nowhere to put my keys as first few times put in pfd!

Blimey, i always store my keys and phoen in the hatch between my knees and i never saw any water in there, but thanks for the heads up.

As for the front hatch, th eonly time i could see any real breach was when i launched in some quite tasty surf. Because the prowler is a narrow boat, (not a narrowboat i hasten to add), it tends to cut through the waves rather than ride over all of them.

Gotta go check my phone and keys now

I sometimes think simplicity is better than all this modern gear

Maybe for fishing go back to a bent pin and a piece of string :)

I must go down to the sea again

To the lonely sea and sky

I left my shoes and socks there

I wonder if they're dry?

I'm just working on fitting a roof rack to my push bike. :) Think of all the savings on fuel!

You can laugh, but I had a home-made bike trailer which attached to my yak (on its yak trolly) and could tow it the 5 min ride to the beach :yeah: Worked a treat :)

They leave them on the front tyre down this way or up the exhaust, much safer :D

Hi I went to see a Prowler 13 and I was a bit concerned with the front hatch

1. is it water tight in normal conditions

2. and what happens if you capsize could/would it fill up with water

thank you :)

I had the same concerns so I made a drum skin cover out of butyl pond liner that goes on before replacing the hatch. it works well.

Cheers

Chris
