Tel, thats a brilliant "re-start" to fishing mate, well chuffed for you.

Only upsetting thing is you had to get some ugly dinlo to hold your fish for the pic, i'm guessing due to your back problem it was to heavy for your ruggishly handsome self to hold then?

Great stuff Wordbender - it's good to see you battling through the hardship of being on the bank (the lack of sufficient tabasco would have sent many lesser anglers scurrying home) to land such a beautiful creature.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

Brilliant, Terry! Glad to see you're back fishing - and catching! :)

How sad you were not available for the gig, Algy - then we could have shown what a proper baulo looks like, Mush. :P

And on the eighth day God created carp fishing...and he saw that it was pukka.

We have missed you, honestly! I mean it, we have honestly missed you! I can't make it much clearer than that, we have missed you.

If I say it enough even I will come round to believing it!

Damned by Wallerian praise...again.

Sagely words, Alison.

I didn't have any sage, either, come to think of it.

Quite apart from the size, what a beautiful fish.

Thank-you, Steve, it certainly is. Scale-perfect, too, and fighting fit to a scary extent. Earlier that day, a lad fishing a few swims down from me caught a 32lb. fully-scaled, which is one of the best-looking fish I've ever seen.

Frimley holds some stunners, for sure. ;)
