When you do start using multiplyers Roryh, don't spend hundreds on them because some one say,s it'll do this and that etc, it's a jap that why it costs so much, it's got ten ball bearing races etc, go on ebay and have some fun spending as little as possible, quite cheaply you will find out what you like and dislike. I have got many reels none apart from a large penn i paid alot for, so it's no big deal when you have to move onto another, you can take them apart, oil them, clean them without worrying if some thing is going to break, can i afford to get it fixed etc. I bought a second hand 6/0 my fav, Norm B will confirm, many years ago in the harbour shop near you, still using it to pull up the lunkers. I'm still jealous of Norm B's new reel though.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

I picked up on this thread and got to page three before I realised it was a 2005 thread, having said that I read on and very interesting it was, I guess by now Chester has knocked the wall out and extended that room to house more reels

It would be interesting to hear how some of those 2005 collections have moved on and how the reels are still performing.

not quite but i'm up to the ceiling ,just one more space over the door!

its getting difficult too many intrepid collectors and most have too much money :schmoll:

i ofcourse dont use any ,the seastreak carbon although a good reel is beyond me and the rest too old and heavy

Nice selection of reels Chester :) ...

I personally only collect Multiplier reels, I have possibly 6/7 fixed spool reels for usage, but none are in my possession as a collectors item. I've had a few Centre Pin and the odd fly reels, again for personal use, or to move on.

Chester … have you all the Intrepid range of Multiplier reels?
