Dick Dastardly 88 Posted December 14, 2006 Share Posted December 14, 2006 I dont think "Jack" is a derogatory term Ken.Its an old traditional reference to any pike.Just in recent decades has it become a term for small pike. Certainly not used by pike anglers in the same dissmisive way "pasties" is in carp fishing. Well not by any proper pike angler I know. And thats my "non indicative opinion"!
