I am yet to catch my first 30 never mind 20 of them.

What were the tactics and bait if you don't mind me asking?

nice fish pole, do carp fight as good as pike ?

Andy, the real question should be, "do pike really fight at all? " :)

 

I once had an 18+carp on a pole, no16 elastic, and had one of the "sweatiest" battles I've ever had....in the dark. on my own....fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Actually had a few more over a 4 week period all around the 14lb mark,

 

If you want to experience real fear, then give it a go :)
