Fishing Venues

[WHITE-LIGHT]

Here are two of my local waters that i fish.

 

We seem too talk about venues quite a lot,it only just occured to me to post something so you can all have a look.

i'd say with all those dogs yapping and gun firing it would be noisy ,its bad enough we have a bagpipe player somewhere out on the ranges of a sunday

The kennels are at the top of the hill,so you don't really notice/hear them.

 

The guns are only air rifles,no shotguns,and most of the people use the indoor range,plus it's a fair distance away.I have only ever seen 3 people use the target area outside.

Do the ponds fish pretty well?

They fish quite well when the conditions are right.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All of these were caught at the Wood End Fishery.

 

I use a 6lb main line,a free running bomb of 1/4 or 1/2 oz,to this i attach a 5lb hair rig about 12" - 18" long with anything from a 10 - 16 hook then bait with cheese.I don't try and over complicate things,keep it simple and it usually works.

 

The landing net is 18" in diameter,so you get a rough idea of the size of the fish.
