Hi all

I am a newbie. Just ordered a OK Scupper pro TW and she arrives tomorrow, can't wait. My SIS kayak (Perception Carolina) was destroyed in a fire so I am really keen to get back out on the water. YY's outfitting looks really good and has given me some great ideas. To Olly, my mate bought drip rings, cut with scalpal blade and super glued bac around paddle shaft!. Been on 2 years that I know of!! Will post a pic of my new baby when she arrives....soooooo exciting!

cheers all.....Dave

Hi Jaffa

Thanks for the welcome!. Yes I did fish from the Carolina but found it dificult with a SIS (rod stuffed into rigging elastics!) should be easier with a sit on top. I live 2 mins from the sea (Irish Sea!) so can get out quite a bit!. I seem to be the only one who does it around here lol. Lots of small boats further out towards Isle of Man though!!. Can't wait to get out sooooooon!

Will be taking my new yak up the west coast quite a bit I think!! Good luck with your fishing up there!. I will post a pic of new yak when she arrives (they promised tomorrow!!). ps anybody know how to add an avitar to my profile pse?.......Ta

I think you need to make 15 posts or so first, though I might be wrong! :) Then go into your profile and pick one from in their. If you want your own picture speak nicely to Newt :D

I live next to an MOD range (Barry Budden); wildlife heaven, though the last big exercise reminded me why I need to keep out of the seaward exclusion zone when the range is in use - nightime tracers were whipping out over where I have been with the yak before! :D
